Dr. DeGrado graduated from Columbia College of Dental Medicine in 1993, then completed a residency at Manhattan VA hospital the following year. In 1996, he finished his implant fellowship at Brookdale University Hospital. Then, in 2000, his Prosthodontic residency was completed at Montefiore Medical Center. He relocated his practice from New York City to Stamford, CT in 2000 and was the founder of Stamford Dental Group, LLC. As a prosthodontist, Dr. DeGrado has advanced training and significant experience in providing lifelike restoration and replacement teeth. In addition, Dr. DeGrado serves as a resource to general dentists in the greater Stamford area. Dentists refer to him their most challenging cases. Dr. DeGrado holds membership in the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, Connecticut State Dental Association, and is an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. DeGrado’s articles on various dental implant procedures and research have been published in professional journals.
To support the community, Dr. DeGrado works with the Connecticut Mission of Mercy. He also supports the Stamford Food Bank and ARI, an organization for adults with disabilities, as well as Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Stamford Dental Group has donated free dentistry to 100 patients at the Dentistry from the Heart annual event. Dr DeGrado has served Connecticut patients and dentists for over 20 years. Dr. DeGrado knows that his passion for and dedication to his career are well worth the hard work when a patient experiences renewed confidence and quality of life after treatment.
Dr. Maratta completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. He received his DMD from the University of Connecticut and completed an AEGD at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in New York. Dr. Maratta completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontists. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and skiing. Dr. Maratta has been with our practice for almost 10 years. His focus is dental implants as well as fixed and removable prosthetics.
Dr. David Remiszewski grew up in Wallingford, Connecticut. He is a surgically- trained specialist in Prosthodontics and an active Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Connecticut, where he was President of the Pre-Dental Society. Dr. Remiszewski completed his dental school training at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
Pursuant of advanced training after dental school, he completed a 3-year specialty program in Advanced Prosthodontics and Dental Implant surgery concurrently a master’s degree in dental science (MDSc) both at the University of Connecticut. The focus of his thesis was in dental implant surgery, while also studying esthetics, cosmetics and computer aided digital smile design, which he directly applies to improve patient care here in the office. Dr. Remiszewski has published 2 articles in peer- reviewed journals with a focus on these topics, and in 2020 received 1 st Place out of 200 colleagues in the Carol Lefebvre Scientific Poster competition for his innovative research in patient treatment methods.
Dr. David Remiszewski is a board member on the national public relations committee for the American College of Prosthodontists, as well as a local board member for Connecticut American College of Prosthodontists. His passion is advancing the specialty with quality comprehensive patient care. When he is not in the office, you can find him on the slopes, playing tennis or enjoying home cooked Polish food with his family.
